Psych knowledge, made accessible & human.

The Accessible Psychologist is a warm, professional space where graduate-level psychology is shared in clear, practical ways — so it’s easier to understand and easier to apply in everyday life.

The accessible psychologist is a place to learn, reflect, and take meaningful steps forward.

The Accessible Psychologist was created to make mental health knowledge more available — especially for people who may not have access to therapy right now.

Grounded in graduate-level psychology and informed by yoga, breathwork, and lived experience, this space focuses on breaking down complex ideas into explanations and strategies that feel approachable, practical, and supportive.

Whether you’re feeling curious, overwhelmed, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, this space is here to meet you where you are.

Areas we support

ADHD & Neurodivergent Experiences

Support for individuals navigating ADHD and other neurodivergent ways of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world. This space recognizes that many people grow up feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or pressured to “fit in,” often without the language to describe what they’re experiencing.

Areas we support

Women & Hormonal Life Transitions

Support for women navigating hormonal changes across the lifespan, including perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. This space recognizes that many women move through these transitions with little guidance, often feeling confused by shifts in mood, sleep, energy, identity, and emotional well-being.

Areas we support

Men in Trades & High-Demand Roles

Support for men working in trades and other high-demand roles where long hours, physical demands, and high responsibility are common. This space recognizes that many men are expected to stay strong, keep working, and push through stress without always having the space to talk about their mental health or the pressures they carry.

The Accessible Psychologist Podcast

This podcast offers practical, evidence-based conversations about mental health — grounded in psychology and real life.

Each episode breaks down complex ideas into clear, approachable insights to help listeners better understand their emotions, communicate more effectively, and build resilience through everyday challenges.

Resources for Learning & Support

Resources are thoughtfully curated and organized to help you explore what feels most relevant to you — whether you’re looking to learn, feel more grounded, or take the next step toward professional support.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not yet. I am currently completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology and will begin offering therapy as a student intern under supervision in Fall 2026.

In the meantime, this space is dedicated to mental health education, accessible resources, and community learning through blogs, newsletters, events, and other offerings.

  • The Accessible Psychologist is a space focused on making psychological knowledge easier to understand, more relatable, and more available to everyday people.

My goal is to bridge the gap between academic psychology and real life, sharing information that helps people better understand themselves, their relationships, and their mental health.

  • My work is for anyone interested in learning about mental health, relationships, and personal growth.

  • No. My workshops, breathwork sessions, courses, and other events are educational and experiential, but they are not therapy and are not a substitute for individualized mental health care.

They’re designed to provide tools, reflection, and learning opportunities that can complement personal growth or existing therapy.

  • I’ll be offering a variety of virtual experiences, including things like:

    • Breathwork sessions

    • Mental health workshops

    • Psychoeducation-based courses

    • Live conversations and community discussions

These events are designed to make psychological ideas practical, accessible, and engaging.

  • When I begin seeing clients as an intern, my work will focus on supporting people through life transitions, relationships, identity, and emotional well-being.

My approach is influenced by both psychological research and embodied practices, including mindfulness and breathwork.

More details about my therapeutic approach will be shared closer to Fall 2026.

  • The resources page is a curated collection of tools, readings, videos, books, and mental health supports.

My goal is to make it easier for people to find helpful, trustworthy information in one place.

  • Right now, this website functions as an educational platform.

Over time, it will grow into both:

    • a mental health education hub

    • and a therapy practice website
